6. <br /> Tim Thiebaud,in his capacity as the Assistant Chief of the Harvey Volunteer Fire Company <br /> No. 2,requested the Harvey Volunteer Fire Company No. 2 purchase supplies totaling$28,069.10 <br /> from Thiebaud's Emergency Vehicle Lighting& Supplies, LLC. <br /> 7. <br /> Tim Thiebaud, in his capacity as an employee of Thiebaud's Emergency Vehicle Lighting <br /> &Supplies,LLC,filled all orders made by the Harvey Volunteer Fire Company No.2 to Thiebaud's <br /> Emergency Vehicle Lighting& Supplies, LLC. <br /> 8. <br /> La. R.S. 42:1113B provides with respect to prohibited transactions: <br /> B. ... no appointed member of any board or commission, member of his immediate <br /> family,or legal entity in which he has a substantial economic interest shall bid on or <br /> enter into or be in any way interested in any contract,subcontract,or other transaction <br /> which is under the supervision or jurisdiction of the agency of such appointed <br /> member. <br /> 9. <br /> La. R.S. 42:1112B(3)provides with respect to participation: <br /> B(3)no public servant shall participate in a transaction involving the governmental <br /> entity in which, to his actual knowledge, any person of which he is an officer, <br /> director, trustee,partner, or employee has a substantial economic interest. <br /> 10. <br /> La.
